Tonielle Christensen, Earth Mumma, is a permaculture educator, designer, and author on a mission to inspire a generation of earth carers to connect, nourish and grow in tune with nature. She believes now is the time to step into our roles as change-makers and redesign our lifestyles for healthy and harmonious relationships with all our kin. Change comes with disrupting old patterns of self and society that no longer support our vision for Earth Care, People Care and Fair share, so she offers workshops and courses to assist people in getting skilled in sustainability from the inside out; head, heart and hands in action!
Tonielle wrote the Incredible Edibles Tropical Superfoods Guide to inspire tropical gardeners to grow perennial food forests and facilitates Permaculture Design Course (PDC) retreats and various practical workshops from her home garden of eating.
As a homeschooling mum with two daughters and the co-creator of the Nature Kids Permaculture Program for Families, she is passionate about redesigning education for a more holistic experience. She has supported various school garden projects and a community-wide composting program.
Tonielle integrates 'Sociocracy' in her work with community facilitation and consulting as an effective framework for dynamic decision-making and governance and has a passion for social permaculture.
Tonielle’s most current projects are her podcast segment, permaculture herbalism with The Elder Tree to put herbal medicine back in the hands of the people, as well as gathering the homeschool community together every month to provide activities for nature play and to support parents with curriculum to care for country and journey through the permaculture principles.
